Dr. Michael




Michael Zubkov is a chiropractor who earned his degree from Northwestern Health Sciences. His educational background includes the study of Physiology at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Before becoming a chiropractor, Michael spent two years as a personal trainer, during which time he worked with a diverse range of clients through both individual sessions and group classes.

Michael’s specialization lies in sports rehabilitation and exercise. He employs a variety of manual therapy techniques in his patient treatment, including instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, static and dynamic cupping, and muscle release techniques. He also incorporates progressive exercises into his treatment plans to enhance strength, mobility, and overall function.

During his education, Michael completed a year-long internship at his school’s “Human Performance Center,” where he gained valuable experience treating a wide array of athletes. Additionally, he worked as a sideline chiropractor at various sporting events, including football, basketball, and roller derby.

Outside of his professional life, Michael maintains an active lifestyle. He is involved in activities such as Olympic weightlifting, rock climbing, and running. His background in martial arts includes disciplines like Hapkido, Taekwondo, and Jiu Jitsu. In high school, he was a member of the track and cross-country teams and also competed in tennis and fencing. Furthermore, Michael has advanced certifications in kettlebell training, acquired while working at a gym that specialized in this area.
